If you want to hop on a call we can talk about the specifics you need to track in order to be successful. It is difficult to tell you what you should be focused on with only high level info.
In general you need to focus on improving user engagement and revenue over time. Investors want to know you are seeing some level of success already and their money is going to multiply your existing efforts.
Contact me if you want to talk in more detail.
The platform you should choose is the one that works best for your business. There are plenty of Magento 2 stores out there. There are also plenty of Bigcommerce and Shopify stores.
It sounds like the real problem is your developer is no longer interested in Magento 2 and would prefer to not have clients using it. This means you either need to find a new developer or keep your anti-Magento developer and risk a decline in quality work. You can also change to Bigcommerce or Shopify, but that can potentially be an expensive option if you don't have a good reason for doing so.
It takes time for search engines to properly index your websites. Changing the entire website within a 3 month timespan will impact your SEO for sure. Search engines love it when websites are easily identifiable. If your site looks like it's going through a mid-life crisis, it's not going to rank well.

Your lead magnet should come directly from your offering. Your full offering should contain a lot of “wins” for your customers throughout the lifetime of your relationship with them. Your lead magnet should be 1 of those wins. This demonstrates that the full offering is worth it because your customer now trust that you can deliver. The bigger the “win” in the lead magnet the higher potential the customer will convert to a paying customer. Message me if you want to full figure this out for your business.
Any relevant certification can help your business in my opinion. This will help show your clients you know what you're doing. Providing a high quality product will always help your business more than any certification can, but a certification can help you get your foot in the door. I'm happy to go into more detail about your business if you want. Feel free to reach out!
I am not a lawyer and you should talk to a lawyer for professional legal advice. That being said, I would assume you won't run into any issues because you are creating original art instead of taking art someone else made and passing it off as your own. There is a chance the celebrities you paint will be delighted and actually share your work within their online communities! Let me know if you want to chat more about getting this up and running.
I don't think the service you are envisioning is a new concept, but it might not exist at scale as a packaged Saas product. If you have not encountered it yet and you are actively looking for it, it could mean that it either does not exist yet or there is a big opportunity to become that authority in that space. If this is something you are looking to build, let's chat!
I can assist you in putting together a plan to build, market, and sell your new supply chain Saas tool. I would need some more specific before I can advise you on your best next steps.
I would need a little more info to help you. What current issue are you having selling your product?
Depending on how much time, money, an energy you are putting into it will affect your options. For example you can collaborate with other blogs that have a similar audience. This is good for a quick boost in new customers. Let me know if you want to chat about other options based on your situation.
